4. Carefully release the connector’s locking mechanism and unplug it. Pull on the connector housing, never the wires. If it does not release easily, check for an additional retaining clip rather than forcing it.

5. Take a clear, well-lit photo straight into the connector. Use a flashlight so all metal contacts are visible. Count only positions containing metal contacts - not empty cavities.
